Enjoy a beautiful walk alongside our family property Maso Broca 6 km from Hotel Orso Grigio, on the side of the Cermis Mountain. The horse farm Maso Broca has been in our family since 1916; we are now contemplating to create 5-6 additional accommodations to endorse Orso Grigio’s services.
Built in 1700 as shelter for hunters, the Maso Broca has been our family activity headquarter as breeding house of ‘Quarter Horses’ (we are currently counting 10 horses with certified pedigree for the ‘Reining’ discipline), with stables, the barn, and extensive green pastures on the side of Lagorai mountain chain.
In summer, we are always proud to take our guests to Maso Broca for a special traditional lunch; our time-honored dishes are Polenta (a paste made from cornmeal), Salsicce (traditional sausages), and many other local customary meals such as ‘Tonco del Pontesel’ – a stew with potatoes and sausage – ‘Formae Rosti’ – a cheese fondue of county famous cheeses of ‘Fontina’ and ‘Puzzone. Not to mention good regional wine and great company!
